Ann studied Fine Art, painting and printmaking, at Goldsmiths College, London. She paints in oils and watercolour and makes linoprints and etchings from her observations. Her paintings emphasise the particular, and suggest mood and associations beyond the reality of the image, introducing surreal overtones. Her prints simplify the representational image and explore pattern and rhythm.
Her work has been shown with the London Group, in the Herbert Gallery, Coventry, and in Southwark Cathedral and with various South East London societies. She assisted as mural artist in the Bahnhof Rolandseck, Bonn, and has had solo exhibitions in Kent and S.E. London. She participates in Open Studios with the Blackheath Art Society.
